Ecology in Fibers

My Ecology in Fibers artworks are a diverse collection of sculptural fiber and mixed-media experiments, united by their shared ecological foundation. While not strictly a series, each piece draws inspiration from the natural world and its many colors, shapes, textures, and patterns. As with my Biological-Based Studies, I begin by studying the ecological materials I plan to use, allowing their unique properties to inform my creative process. From there, I let my imagination run wild, experimenting with abstract forms and techniques to bring my ideas to life. Through this collection, I hope to inspire others to see the beauty in nature and encourage a deeper appreciation for the delicate balance of our planet's ecosystems.
